A Cyber Safety Awareness Programme was organized at David School on 6 August 2026 by Sohil Khan, a Cyber Security Instructor, for the students of Classes IX to XII. The programme aimed to educate students about the importance of staying safe and responsible while using the internet. It also created awareness about online safety, cyberbullying, phishing, strong passwords, privacy, and the responsible use of social media.
The programme began with an informative session by the resource person, who explained various cyber threats and the precautions that students should take while using digital devices. Students were advised not to share personal information, passwords, or confidential details with strangers online. They were also made aware of the importance of verifying suspicious messages, links, and emails before responding to them.
An interactive session was conducted in which students actively participated and asked questions about common online risks. The session helped students understand how to use the internet wisely and safely.
The programme was informative and useful for all the students. It encouraged them to become responsible digital citizens and follow safe and secure practices while using the internet.
