Senior Citizens’ Day was celebrated in Primary Wing on 21.08.26 with great enthusiasm and warmth by the students of Classes III to V. The celebration aimed to express love, gratitude and respect towards senior citizens and to help students understand the valuable role they play in our families and society.
The students presented a variety of skit, poems and short presentations highlighting the importance of grandparents and elders in our lives. The performances reflected the students’ creativity, confidence and respect for the older generation.
The event also provided students with an opportunity to interact with senior citizens (their grandparents)and listen to their experiences and words of wisdom. Through these interactions, students learnt important values such as kindness, patience, respect, empathy and gratitude.
The celebration was an enriching experience for both the students and the senior citizens. It helped strengthen intergenerational bonds and created a joyful and memorable atmosphere. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to all teachers and students who contributed to making the celebration a meaningful success.
